Souvala
Souvala is a beautiful traditional fishing village with a nice beach, taverns, bars, cafes, hotels and rooms to let. It’s a wonderful tourist resort full of livelinessas well as peaceful spots, combining sea and mountain,meeting thus all tastes and needs.
In Souvala there is a beach with hot springs known as Therma, which contain sulphur and therefore help cure rheumatic pains and dermatological problems.
One kilometer east from Souvala, along the seaside, there is a tourist village called Agioi and after 5 kilometers you meet a village called Vagia, which boasts a nice beach and many archeological findings. After Vagia, if you head south, you’ll reach Mesagro, the Temple of Aphaia and the church of Santa Marina.
From Souvala you can reach the town of Aegina by bus in about 30 minutes. There is also a road that leads from the village to Palaioxora, a unique medieval town, and to the monastery of Saint Nektarios.
